A couple more points and some clarification on “Meritocracy” and a tip for writing the analysis essay on the AP English Composition exam.

Also, here’s a Times article about the Stuyvesant High School admissions situation (that I talked about last week and in this new video) from the point of view of the students of color who did gain admission: “I’ve been told that the only reason I got into Stuyvesant is because I’m black, even though the test doesn’t even factor that in,”
